Kelly Osborn, the President/CEO of major Saver, and Chris Ary, the company’s Vice President of Operations, visited Gilbert Schools on Oct. 22 to present Gilbert Superintendent Dr. Christine Trujillo and Gilbert Education Foundation President Misty Sachs with a check for $18,261 raised through the recent Major Saver Campaign.
This is one of the two major fundraising efforts done yearly by the GEF, and its through the hard work of the foundation and our students that makes this possible. Our elementary, intermediate, and middle school students all sold Major Saver cards throughout the community, and the result was the second-highest amount raised in the history of the Gilbert program!
The Major Saver Campaign goes to fund various things, such as the mini grants in each of our buildings, as well as field trips, among other things.
We are so thankful for the GEF. We are so proud of our students! And we are incredibly excited about the partnership we have created with Major Saver to make this fundraising possible.
